The past few years have been pivotal for spinal cord research. Your donation can make a significant difference in the search for a cure. The Emily Hunt Foundation has funded two research projects currently underway that are of extreme interest to everybody with chronic spinal cord injuries. In 2001, the money raised from Emily’s Walk were directed to help fund the creation of a macrophage laboratory. The new laboratory will allow Craig Hospital, in Denver, Colorado, to perform macrophage therapy here in the United States rather than having to transport spinal cord injured persons.
